We offer free advice on what we believe will be the right crane truck solution for your business and provide detailed calculations based on your lifting requirement and type of work being carried out from initial consultation. Through the use of industry recognised software Trailerwin, the data and measurements are used to determine imposed weight over axles, carrying capacities and importantly the stability of the overall build. We can also simulate turning circles and marry up crane vehicles with trailers to suggest the best possible combinations for your operational needs. CHASSIS FROM ALL MANUFACTURERS
As an independent truck specialist, we can source chassis from all main manufacturers and currently work with several main dealers in Scotland on Fassi crane solutions. We offer advice on the best chassis to use for certain builds and by working closely with main dealers we are able to provide you with the latest chassis and variant that best suit your work and use. Low ride heights, steering axles or great ground clearance, no matter what your work, we design full solutions that get the most from your crane and body. Specific payload targets, lifting requirements, usability, driveability and driver safety are all taken into consideration. Everything is carefully considered and planned to provide you with the best possible crane solution for your application and business.
TRUCK BODIES
Our coachbuilding group partner PMH have been building bodies for over 25 years and we can offer everything from flatbeds through to cheesewedge and cabin spec bodies. Tried and tested we would always recommend opting for a PMH built body but you may also wish to consider Sterling bodies or Andover built truck bodies. As a Fassi main agent we are happy to work with different body builders if you have a specific preference or national deal in place.
PAINTING & LIVERY
Our one-stop-shop provide a full painting and livery service on all our new and used vehicle builds. Newly built or remount sub chassis are all fully painted prior to cranes and bodies being fitted to protect as much as possible from the harsh Scottish weather. Truck chassis, bodies and cranes can be fully painted in your company livery ready for delivery or painted in our standard chassis grey if you would prefer. We would suggest that if you would prefer not to have the standard red Fassi crane that all new Fassi cranes should be ordered individually painted direct from the factory in Italy. This makes for a much-improved paint finish than can’t be achieved in secondary finishing. We also offer full vinyl wraps and applied graphics if you would like us to manage the process from start to finish. Providing you with a new crane build ready for work complete in your company livery.
ACCESSORIES
LIGHTING, CAMERAS & TOOL BOXES, THE CHOICE IS YOURS.
Our experienced electrical technicians can fit a range of lighting, cameras and accessories to your new and used crane vehicle, all professionally fitted and electrically safe. Choose from a range of lighting from quality brands Kelsa and Britax or choose BAWER toolboxes to finish your crane build off nicely. A range of steel and stainless tool boxes that provide a finishing touch to any crane vehicle. Ask your driver what he thinks? You can never have too much storage, so why not have us complete the build for you? Off the shelf or custom stainless steel, the choice is yours.
WVTA (Whole Vehicle Type Approval) NSSTA & IVA
Our aim is to make the purchasing or contract hire of your next crane vehicle as smooth as possible. Keeping you informed each step of the way, we manage the whole approval process from start to finish and provide you with a crane vehicle ready for the road. The full build process normally takes between 6 and 12 weeks depending on the body type and chassis. We are fortunate that our group partner PMH Coachbuilders has achieved whole vehicle type approval status and are responsible for the issue of Certificates of Conformity for all our crane builds. Enabling us to control every step of the build stage from the ordering of the chassis to PDI and delivery. This results in full transparency over the build, fewer delays making the whole process more cost-effective.
