Job: Fleet Maintenance Coordinator


Position: Full-Time
Location: Grangemouth
Salary: £30,000 - £36,000 DOE plus Company Benefits

We are looking for an enthusiastic team player who will assist our rental team and provide first-class customer service to our customers as a Fleet Maintenance Coordinator. This position is at the very heart of our truck and van rental business, and the right candidate must be able to work under pressure and be a great communicator. The role would suit someone from the Commercial Vehicle industry with experience in Service Reception/ Service administration or maintenance control.

General Duties
Working within a small Commercial Vehicle Rental/Sales team 
Administration support to the Rental team to ensure the achievement of revenue targets
Handling Inbound rental and maintenance calls/enquiries for Fleet Custome
Service Scheduling and making bookings for HGV PMI, crane inspections, Tacho & Loler.
Ensuring VORs are kept to a minimum and communicating with customers/suppliers 
Maintenance cost control, querying repair times, pricing etc.
Issuing purchase orders and updating costs when required
Answering customer queries promptly
Liaise with suppliers to ensure truck repairs are completed on time and at agreed costs
Ensure compliance is up to date on all vehicles
Understand the customer requirements and provide the best solution, ensuring that every interaction with the depot is positive.
Ensure effective communication between workshop, hire desk and sales team
Manage and build relationships internally and with our customers and suppliers.
General administration work 
Assist in the coordination of build & defleet repairs to suppliers (crane, paint, workshop etc)

What you will bring to the role:
A key team player
Experience in the Commercial Vehicle Industry (Service department background preferable) 
Excellent administration skills coupled with the ability to work on own initiative
Confident in delivering excellent customer service
Organisational skills are essential
Be IT literate in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook) and Hire/DMS Software.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy 
A Full and valid driving licence is required.
