Role: Business Development Manager – Truck Rental
Location: Grangemouth, Scotland
Position: Full-time
Hours per week: 40
Salary: £25,000.00-£40,000.00 per year + Commission + Company Car
BDM – Truck Rental & Leasing
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced BDM to join our successful and ambitious group of companies. As a group, we provide a broad range of commercial vehicle services to customers across Scotland and have near 400 heavy-commercial vehicles on hire to companies across various sectors.
In this newly created business development role, you will work closely with senior management in identifying and developing new opportunities in our sector. You will also be expected to identify, engage and close opportunities to drive the progression of our truck rental and leasing solutions.
This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to work in a forward-thinking and hugely rewarding environment. You must have a proven background in the Commercial Vehicle and/or Vehicle Rental industry, be highly organised, with an excellent telephone manner and good I.T skills to be considered for this position.
Desirable Skillset & Experience;
• Ideally, a proven track record in the commercial vehicle hire industry
• Demonstrable commercial acumen
• An excellent telephone manner and a positive attitude
• Confidence in sales approach with good work ethic
• Demonstrate Ambition to succeed and progress within the business
• Knowledge of word and excel
• Good communication skills – written and verbal.
• Driving Licence
This is a senior-level role, and you will be expected to monitor and manage asset utilisation while delivering on agreed KPi's. Full support will be provided to help you succeed and your career will be taken seriously, with the opportunity for progression to divisional management and beyond.
