Investing in the Future of Alltruck
Developing the Next Generation of Technicians
At the Alltruck Group, investing in the future isn’t a slogan; it’s a strategy. In an industry facing a well-documented shortage of skilled, motivated HGV technicians, we believe the solution lies in developing talent from within, supporting long-term career progression, and embracing innovation and new technology.
Our people set the standard, and three recent achievements across our maintenance team perfectly illustrate that commitment.
Cameron Anderson is a great example of a homegrown success story. Cammy first joined Alltruck during our Bonnybridge days, completing his apprenticeship and building strong technical foundations. After gaining wider industry experience elsewhere, he returned to Alltruck in September 2024, joining our Mobile Technician team. Since then, he has achieved his Maintenance Technician Certification, demonstrating both technical ability and a clear commitment to professional growth. His journey reflects our belief in long-term careers, not short-term roles.
Cameron Reid, who joined Alltruck in March 2025, has made an immediate impact. In a short space of time, he has completed his Maintenance Technician Certification, qualified as a Class IV & VII MOT Tester, and successfully passed his Tacho Certification. His drive, work ethic, and willingness to learn highlight exactly the kind of future-focused talent the industry needs, and the type of people Alltruck is proud to invest in.
Kevin Fennessey represents the next step in that progression. Joining Alltruck in May 2023, Kevin has rapidly developed into a key member of the team and now operates as a Shift Supervisor. Along with earning his Maintenance Tech Certification, Kevin is also a Certified EV Technician, fully prepared to support the next generation of Mercedes-Benz battery-electric trucks. His development reflects the growing importance of innovation and technology within the trucking industry.
As vehicles become more complex and electrification accelerates, the need for highly trained, adaptable technicians has never been greater. By investing in training, qualifications, and leadership development, Alltruck is building a sustainable, skilled workforce ready for the future.
We’re proud of these guys, and of the wider team they represent. They are proof that with the right support, opportunity, and standards, the future of Alltruck and its customers is in safe hands.
