Job title: Workshop-Based Commercial Vehicle Technician
Hours: Night Shift
Location: Grangemouth

This role involves
Carry out Safety & MOT Inspection to DVSA standards.
Carrying out repairs with defect rectification
Troubleshooting, fault finding, liaising with controllers and management, reporting on faults to discuss rectification process
Supporting and working with other technicians and clients
Experience working in the commercial vehicle workshop
Experience working in a customer-focused environment
Basic knowledge of air brakes / EBS-ABS systems and diagnostic procedures

Essential Criteria
Previous motor vehicle technician experience
Apprentice trained and qualified to C&G or NVQ level 3 in motor vehicle mechanics, maintenance and repair, or equivalent.
Full driving licence
Hardworking and the ability to work under pressure in a safe and responsible manner
Reliable and punctual

Desirable Criteria
Previous Commercial Vehicle experience
Previous dealership experience
HGV licence

Schedule
Night shift - Working Four days, Monday – Friday
Four days off every second weekend. (Fri – Mon inclusive)
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary
£50,232 per annum

Shift Rotation
Monday to Thursday, 7.30pm to 7.30 am
Tuesday to Friday, 7.3pm to 7.30 am.
